Four-Year Journey From Documentary to Book

We live in a historic moment, witnessing the emergence of a new social movement created by survivors of sexual abuse. Before my four-year journey of writing a book on this new social movement, I was interested in celebrating this movement in a documentary. I created a PowerPoint presentation to pitch to media companies.

That initiative withered, failing to advance. As the documentary goal disappeared, I redirected my efforts to writing a book, a project nearing completion. The PowerPoint linked to this Blog entry serves as a graphic introduction to the themes of my book.
